After a very long break from the show ring, we where at the Euro Dog Show in Kortrijk. Nhabira Jean Jeannie was Best Youth Bitch and BOB Youth. Nhabira Home Run was again very successful and was BOB, BIG1 and BIS8!!

16/02/11 Welcome "La Monnalisa per Nhabira"!! Mona came all the way from Italy to join our family. She is out of Ch. Big Bone Cordelia and Ch. Woferlow Single Malt. Thanks a lot to her breeder Antonio!

08/11/10 At the Purina Pro Plan Cup - Italy - Homer was BOB and BIG3. Thanks Fede!!

20/10/10 Nhabira Home Run is currently living in Italy at kennel Terra dei Templari, where he is being well looked after by Marina and superbly handled to his championship by Federica. At his first show he got the res.CAC.

10/08/10 At the Basset Hound Freunde clubshow - Germany, Nhabira Home Run and Nhabira Hermelien where Best Male and Best Female. They got double CAC and VDH. Judge was Rudy Smits.

At the International Show in Antwerp (18 basset hounds entered): Nhabira Happydays got res. CAC and res. CACIB. Nhabira Ice man got the honors of taking home the BOB puppy at his first show and 6 months of age. But the big win was for our Nhabira Home Run....he was the BOB and BIG3!

Nhabira Hermelien was BOB at the National show in Genk, we couldn't stay for the group judgement.

10/03/10 Welcome back to Belgium "Happy"!! Thanks to the incredible kindness of Ervin and Henrietta Surjan - kennel Of Riverside - Nhabira Happydays will return home to her brother Home Run and Hermelien. We can't say how excited we are to welcome another member of that incredible litter Ella and Ion-Ion gave us!

29/09/09 A new picture from Hungary arrived. Nhabira Happydays is 18 months old now and looking very smart!

On Sunday Homer and Hermelien went to the annual club show in Holland (91 bassets entered). They had great result:

Homer became best Youth Male with JCAC (9 entries) and later on also res. BEST MALE

At the same time, Hampton was representing our kennel in Finland, he became BOB and BIG3

20/06/09 We got some summer greetings from Italy! Here is Nhabira High Five, he is 14 months old now.

14/06/09 At the International dog show in Oss, Holland, Nhabira Favourite was BOB, BIG1 and BIS4!!

The week before he became BOB in Germany and fulfilled all conditions to be INTERNATIONAL SHOW CHAMPION.

08/06/09 We have got smashing news from Finland! Nhabira Hamptom - "Keijo" - 2 times Best Of Breed and BIG 4 in 1 weekend! Not bad for a 14 month old boy-))

15/05/09 Today we did a little "photo shoot" of Hermelien. She is 14 months old now.

We got greetings from Nhabira Hello Dolly, who lives in Finland! She is 8 months old now and training for shows-))

06/05/09 Due to some working commitments we are a bit behind with the web updates!! The successes of our dogs over the last month.....

Nhabira Happy Days had her first show and what a success!! She was at her 13 months of age BOB and BIG1.........Congratulations Ervin and Henrietta!

31/03/09 Home Run and Hermelien went to their first show, the International Dog Show in Luxembourg. Hermelien was 1 Exc. out of 5 and became Luxembourg Youth Champion! Home Run thought he was in a circus and was the clown!! He got 3 Exc.

14/01/09 For the second year in a row we are the breeder of the TOP basset hound in Holland. We are very proud to announce that Ch. Nhabira Favourite was TOP BASSET HOUND 2008!!!!

07/12/08 Nhabira Hampton made his show debut in Finland, and it's one we can be speaking about-)) He was BOB puppy, BIG1 puppy and BIS3 puppy!!!

28/11/08 We got greetings from the snowy Finland. Here is Nhabira Hello Dolly (12 weeks old)!

24/10/08 Nhabira Favourite was Best of Breed and Best in group 2 at the show in Utrecht, Holland!

04/10/08 Nhabira Happydays had her first show and she became Puppy Club Winner at the Hungarian Club show!

29/09/08 Nhabira Home Run and Hermelien are growing up nicely!! They are 6 months old now.

28/09/07 Today Favourite was BOB and BIG4 at the International Dog Show Maastricht

21/09/08 At the German Basset Hound Club Show Favourite was Best Of Breed!! He became Clubsieger 2008 and German VDH Champion.

10/09/08 And another great weekend for Nhabira Favourite! This time he traveled to Denmark and again with great success, he became DANISH CHAMPION!!

02/09/08 Last weekend Nhabira Favourite finally was old enough to become Dutch Champion.....And he did!! His 19th CAC, at his 27 months of age, made him DUTCH CHAMPION! He also was Best of Breed and Best in Group 4. Some champagne was served by Mr. Versluis!!

Nhabira Giggles won CAC and res. CACIB at Mlada Boleslav (Czech Republic) as well!

25/07/08 Some new pictures of our little Homer (Nhabira Home Run), 4 months old

07/07/08 The Dutch club show held their anniversary Show on June 29 and quite some of our dogs where present! We took the babies from Ella and Ion and they where very successful! The results:

Nhabira Hermelien, very promising 1 in baby class bitches (8 entries), BIS BABY

Nhabira Heather (Energy x Favourite), very promising 3 in baby class bitches

07/07/08 Due to some computer problems I wasn't able to update my website for some time. There has of course been some winnings for the Nhabira bassets so I will put the most important ones here:

2 x St Gallen Switzerland, 2 x Excellent 1 in Intermediate Class with CAC (he took 3 Swiss CAC's that weekend!)

!!AND last but not least...........TOP Basset Hound 2008 for sure AND Top leading dog in Group 6!!

20/04/08 Today Favourite went to Germany and continued what he did over the last shows - BOB and BIG2!!

07/04/08 At the International Show in Goes Favourite was AGAIN BOB and later on BIG2

24/03/08 Even if it can become boring........Nhabira Favourite was BOB and BIG2 at the Easter Show in Leeuwarden, Holland!

22/03/08 At the International show in Prague, Czech Republic, Nhabira Giggles got 1 Excellent in Youth class with CAJC. With this result she qualified for Crufts again and became Czech Junior Champion!!

16/03/08 At the international Show in Groningen, Holland, Favourite was again BOB.

And at the show in Leiden, Holland, he was BOB and BIG4.....It's evident that he is Top Leading Basset for 2008 as well so far!

Nhabira Favourite was at the international show in Eindhoven BOB and Best in Group2!

And Nhabira Giggles was at the international show in Brno and got 1 Exc. in Youth class with CAJC and later on BIS3 Junior Bitch!!

17/12/07 Yesterday the show season has ended in Holland..........Nhabira Favourite was Best of Breed and Best in Group 2!!

In 2007 I think we can say he has written history in the Netherlands! In 8 months these are his most important achievements:

25/11/07 What mother Ella (with her belly filled with 11 G-pups!) did in 2006 was repeated by her children in 2007 at the biggest show of the Year in Holland - the Amsterdam Winner show.....

We are also very proud to announce that it's now sure that Favourite will end as TOP BASSET HOUND 2007 at his 18 months of age!!

17/11/07 Today Nhabira Giggles, Gigi, had her first show in Junior class at the International Show in Prague. She got 1 Excellent with CAJC and qualified for Crufts!! Congratulations Bara!

04/11/07 Today history repeated itself ones more! At the international dog show in Bleiswijk - Holland - Favourite was Best of Breed, Best in Group and Best in show 5!! Right now he is top leading basset hound for 2007 in Holland as well, with 2 more shows to go!

21/10/07 Nhabira Favourite went to Lausanne, Switzerland this weekend. He won Intermediate class both days and now has 2 CAC's towards his Swiss champion title. On Sunday he was res. best male also!

13/10/07 2 half brothers where present in Dortmund for 2 days... Nhabira Favourite won Youth class the first day and got a Jugend VDH and Jugend CAC. He hereby is also German Youth Champion (CAC) and Bundesjugendsieger 2007. His much younger half brother Nhabira GinTonic was 2 Exc. with res. VDH. On the second day Favourite was in intermediate class and got 2 Exc., res. VDH and res.CAC. Nhabira GinTonic won Youth class this time and got a Youth VDH! Well done boys!!

07/10/07 And ones more there was an International Show in Holland.............and of course Favourite was present............AND Favourite was AGAIN, 1 Excellent in Intermediate class - CAC/CACIB and Best of Breed!! He is very close to being Top Basset Hound 2007 in Holland now, and that at only 16 months of age!!!

29/09/07 This weekend it was the International show in Maastricht - Holland. Favourite got 1 Excellent in Intermediate class - CAC/CACIB, Best of Breed and Best in Group 2!!

Nhabira Giggles, Gigi, went to the Polish Basset Hound club show in Mozna. Judge F. Lamarca placed her second in puppy class (6 entries) with Very Promising.

16/09/07 It's becoming boring.............BUT he did it again!! At the German Basset Hound Clubshow in Oberschwappach, Favourite was 1 Excellent in Youth Class. He got the title "Clubjugendsieger", double Jugend CAC and 1 VDH Jugend CAC. He is now also German Youth Champion!!

10/09/07 This weekend Nhabira Favourite was present in Leipzig - Germany. He won Intermediate class both days and got a VDH. On Saturday he was reserve best male also and took the res. CAC! I can say Favourite looked quite relaxed over the whole happening! Quite a trip for a 15 month old boy!

All these winnings make "mummy" Ella of course extremely proud!! Favourite was the only puppy in the litter and he was a good one --)) Some of her G-babies have started their show career with great success as well and others will start soon......

01/09/07 Nhabira Favourite traveled to Luxembourg this weekend. He won Intermediate class and now has his first CAC towards his Luxembourg Championship!

25/08/07 At the International Show in Rotterdam - Holland - Favourite showed ones more that he is determined to have a very successful show career! He was again Best of Breed and Best in Group 3!!

At the International Show in Berghem - Holland - Nhabira Favourite did something extraordinary for a 14 month old basset hound!! He was Best of Breed, Best in Group AND Best in Show 5!! It's needless to say that both me and Mr. Versluis are extremely proud of him!!

Also Nhabira Gail continues her winning! She was 1 Very Promising in puppy class and reserve BIS puppy (out of 20 puppies)!! Congratulations!

14/07/07 At the International dog show in Romania, Nhabira Gail was 1 Very Promissing, BOB puppy and later on Best in Show puppy!!

09/07/07 We went to the Dutch basset hound club show today and did quite well -)) This is what I and the Nhabira bassets gained:

02/07/07 Favourite's success continues!! In Echt, Holland, he was again reserve best male. But the weekend had his best moment on Sunday when he went best male in Germany under breed specialist Mr. Per Knudsen! What will he do next weekend.....

01/07/07 Nhabira Gail also continues her success! This time she managed to become BIS2 baby....

24/06/07 At the International Dog Show in Brussels, Belgium, Nhabira Favourite was 1 Excellent in Youth class, best Junior of Breed and got the title Belgian Junior Winner 2007!

22/06/07 Nhabira Gigolo sends his greetings from Canada again! He is growing into a wonderful boy!! Gigolo is 5.5 months old.

18/06/07 Nhabira Favourite was 1 excellent in Youth class again and is now Dutch Youth Champion!! He was again reserve best male after his father and got another CAC. He has now 3 full CAC's out of 4 for his Dutch Champion title. He still has to wait 14 more months before he can get it. I am sure it won't be so difficult -))

28/05/07 At the Hungarian Basset Hound Club show Nhabira Gail got 1 Very Promising in Baby class and is Baby Club winner 2007!

27/05/07 At the National d'Elevage (French Basset Hound club show) in Avalon - France - Nhabira Favourite got 1 Exc. in Youth class! Favourite is 12 months old now...

21/05/07 Gail and Tamas continue their success in Hungary!! Last weekend Lady Gail went BIS 3 baby at a National dog show... What a start they had until now!!

14/05/07 Some Nhabira bassets had a very nice weekend again! Nhabira Gail was ones more Very Promising 1 in Baby class

AND Nhabira Favourite was again extremely successful in St-Gallen - Switzerland where he got both days Excellent 1 in Youth Class with JCAC (hopefully some new pictures of Favourite will follow soon)! Congratulations for Mr. Rinus Versluis this time !

06/05/07 Nhabira Gail has already started her show career in Hungary. She has got Very Promising 1 in Baby class at her 2 first shows! Congratulations Tamas and Patricia!!

23/04/07 Nhabira Favourite had a great day again yesterday at the International show in Goes - Holland. He won Youth class and got the Youth CAC again. He finished as reserve best male after his father Ch. Twinkling Spencer Original Big Bone (who also went BOB and BIG2 afterwards). At his 10 months he has 2 youth CAC's and 1 full CAC in Holland and is Luxembourg Youth Champion....

02/04/07 Yesterday at the International show in Luxembourg Nhabira Favourite did very well! He won Youth class again and became Luxembourg Youth Champion!! There where 41 basset hounds entered.

25/03/07 Some of the Nhabira F-puppies have started their show carreers! At the International show in Leiden - Holland - Nhabira Favourite got 1 Exc. in Youth class with Youth CAC. Nhabira Fame got 2 Exc. in Youth class. They are 9.5 months old now.

27/11/2006 Ch. Swede Sun's Ella had her first and only show this year at the Amsterdam Winner Show. With her belly full of babies she managed to become Amsterdam Winster 2006 and BOB!! It was a great day for us, to get the title and to hear that she is pregnant for sure!!

05/12/05 As we hoped Ella finished her Dutch Champion title last weekend taking reserve best bitch at the Amsterdam Winner Show (28 bassets entered). At least we can say she finished in style, winning 4 CAC's in only 3 shows (from July till now)! In total she has participated at 7 shows in Holland (amongst them 2 club shows) and took 4 CAC's and 2 reserve CAC's!! This is it for now for her, next year she will hopefully be in the whelping box and bring me some nice new show babies!!

18/09/05 At the International all breed show in Maastricht - Holland, Ella got CAC-CACIB-BOB and BIG5!! She is almost a Dutch Champion as well now!

29/08/05 Ella was 3 Exc. in Open Class at the German club show. Judge: Mr. deMello.

11/07/05 We had a great weekend!!! At the Dutch Basset Hound Club show (105 bassets entered, Bitch judge Mrs. Heather Storton) our girls have done it! Darleen Moravia Bento went 3 excellent in Young Bitch Class (12 entries). But the big win was for Swede Sun's Ella!! She won a big Open Class, went Best Bitch and reserve Best in Show!!!!
